Job Description

Coach Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary guide for students and families throughout the college preparation and application process
• Initiate timely contact with students and parents and maintain consistent communication
• Support students with college planning, applications, essays, résumés, extracurricular development, and testing preparation
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work
• Review and refine college lists to align with student goals, interests, and academic profiles
• Track student progress, accountability, and required forms
• Collaborate closely with administration and submit accurate documentation
• Keep families informed through regular updates
• Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing professional development
• Contribute to a supportive, structured, and student-centered experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a top U.S. or European university.
• Strong understanding of the U.S./ European college admissions process, including Common App, Coalition App, and other application platforms.
• Experience in college advising, admissions counseling, or related educational fields. (Optional)
• Excellent writing and editing skills, particularly for application essays.
• Ability to build rapport with students and motivate them throughout the process.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple students simultaneously.
• Experience working with international students is a plus.

• Uphold the mission and values of Empowered Education while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

• Payment depends on the number of students and the type of package they are enrolled in.
• Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses may be offered at the discretion of Empowered Education to recognize exceptional work.
